Brooks and Kelli Engagement

Such a beautiful brisk day at River Front Park in the Magic City of Billings, Montana for an Engagement Session! I have been honored with the privilege of getting to photograph them for their engagement and upcoming wedding. I'm so excited for these two.  You can tell they are so in love and make each other so happy.  Congratulations Brooks and Kelli! I'm so excited for what the future holds for you both! 

  

Tell me how you met...

Kelli saw Brooks come in to the church office where she works, and while they noticed each other, it was a few months before they actually sat down for their first date at a Starbucks, which was cleverly orchestrated by a pastor Brooks is friends with. 

 What did you first notice about Kelli? "Her eyes."

What did you first notice about Brooks? "His height and beautiful blue eyes."

What does Kelli do to make you smile? "When she stares at me."

What does Brooks do to make you smile? "When he makes dumb jokes and kisses my forehead

Tell me about your first date. "Our first date began with coffee at Starbucks, which melted into a walk on the rims, which turned into lunch at Subway and then finally a movie. It was epic."

When did you know Brooks was the one?

"A million tiny moments all adding up to realizing he was everything I prayed for. One day I just knew."

When did you know Kelli was the one?

 "A few weeks into dating, I realized how much Kelli loved Jesus, and how committed she is to Him, and how nerdy and weird she is"

How did Brooks propose?

 "A couple days before Christmas, Brooks took Kelli to Camelot Ranch, which was deserted, expect for 3 good friends who served them a delicious dinner, amidst a balcony and ballroom beautifully decorated for Christmas. After dinner, Brooks danced with Kelli to her favorite song and reached over to a branch on the Christmas tree, retrieved the ring box, got down on one knee and asked her a question."

Just looking back upon our dating history and looking to the future, I love how you are committed to Jesus and to me, and how you show me how much you love me just through your words of encouragement, support, friendship and love. 

I love everything that you are and all that you are: your passions for: serving Jesus and His church, singing/music, art and how much you love and care for your friends and family. I love you so much and can't wait to go on all the adventures and spend the rest of my life and growing old with you.
